Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in AI automation and data engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AI tools, a strong background in quality assurance processes, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for AI-driven applications and data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and AI developers to validate data integrity, model performance, and system reliability.
  • Implement and maintain QA frameworks tailored for AI and machine learning workflows.
  • Monitor and analyze test results, identify issues, and drive resolution in partnership with engineering teams.
  • Evaluate and integrate AI tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Develop and document QA best practices for AI automation and data engineering projects.
  • Stay current with emerging AI technologies and quality assurance methodologies.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 5-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance, preferably with AI automation and data engineering projects.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and GenAI frameworks.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, ETL processes, and data validation techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Benefits of working at Microchip

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $70,304 - $205,000.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
