Job Description
NRECA is a unique national trade association providing advocacy, financial services and business support services to over 900 consumer owned electric cooperatives across the country. NRECA's communications and marketing department is a central hub of the association and is responsible for shaping external, internal and member communications and marketing efforts. The department works to tell the modern electric cooperative story, positively influence the perception of cooperatives with inside-the-beltway policymakers, elevate the organization's brand and showcase the value of NRECA membership. Working collaboratively with C-Suite leaders and partners among all the departments, the communications and marketing team is creative and passionate, focused on building a better tomorrow for electric cooperatives across the nation. We are looking for an experienced multimedia storyteller with ability to find innovative, engaging ways to bring NRECA and member stories to audiences through video, still photography and audio. Works with NRECA leadership, staff and members to ensure content is aligned with NRECA's advocacy, editorial, media and marketing priorities. Ensures brand consistency across platforms, manages digital assets, and collaborates with teams to translate concepts into engaging, high-quality visual stories. May work from home up to 2 days per/week. Key Responsibilities
