This position provides program office support to the Navy PMA-201 Joint Program Office that manages SDB II and DoN Bomb Rack development/integration teams. The successful candidate will support the planning, coordination and final resolution of program management challenges associated with the management, development, integration, and qualification of a Navy BRU-61C/A and SDB II for F/A-18E/F, F-35B and F-35C. The candidate develops and implements program plans and strategies in accordance with supported customer requirements, policies and guidelines (DoD). Develops and coordinates preparation of program documentation and briefing materials to clearly communicate program strategies, goals and objectives, and supports program execution within established cost, schedule and performance parameters. Analyzes customer requirements, develops course of action, makes sound recommendations and implements actions to ensure program success. Prior knowledge of munitions development, NAVAIR program management, flight clearance and systems engineering processes is preferred. Responsibilities would include program and administrative support direct reporting to the Program Manager (PM).

Essential Job Functions:

Support front o ice administrative operations, workflow management, and coordination with senior leadership.

Manage configuration control for program data, briefs, and stakeholder reports to ensure accuracy and version integrity.

Prepare to assume Defense Travel System (DTS) responsibilities as a future requirement.

Serve as the Navy representative to ensure program requirements are accurately captured in all contract documentation.

Support the development, review, and coordination of materials required for contract evaluation, source selection, and award.

Maintain and update program schedules, track key milestones, and monitor progress against established timelines.

Coordinate taskers across the team to ensure timely, accurate responses aligned with leadership priorities.

Track unfunded and emergent requirements to support resource visibility and decision-making.

Provide inputs to Program Objective Memorandum (POM) Issue Sheets and other budget planning products

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree or related field plus 4 to 8 years' experience.

Current/Ability to attain Secret clearance.

Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Travel is required (~25% per month).

Ability to rent/operate rental cars while on travel.

Works well in a team environment, is a self-starter and is result oriented.

Desired Skills:

Familiarity with DoD 5000 Series Acquisition processes, etc.

Interaction with SMEs inside and outside the organization.

Review, develop, or edit program documentation, and provide status briefings for Program leadership.

Maintain situational awareness of Production status (cost/schedule/performance) and issues.

Become and maintain familiarity with program funding and contracting types.

Develop the ability to draft contract documentation for Requests for Proposals (RFP), and related components: Statement of Objectives, Pricing Tables, CDRLs, CSDR Plans, DD254, etc.

Have the ability to perform Technical Evaluations of proposals, adjudicate ground rules and assumptions, collect inputs from others and work Requests for Information to closure of offer.

They have a familiarity with reviewing Bill of Materials and supplier material quotes, Operations Labor models and an ability to formulate going-in/objective rationale and provide recommendations to customer.
