Position Description

As the Human Resources Director for the Modular Data Center vertical, you will serve as the strategic HR leader for a hyper-growth business. You will partner directly with the Vice President/General Manager to build and scale the organization from its startup phase to maturity. This role requires a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on execution to develop the HR infrastructure, talent strategy, and culture necessary to win in a dynamic and competitive market. as well as the Indoor Air & Liquid Products, and Systems and Controls businesses.

You will have direct leadership responsibility for HR Managers at our plant locations and will be a key member of the Modular Data Center leadership team. This is an ideal role for an experienced HR leader who is an entrepreneur at heart and excels at scaling businesses for the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the VP/GM of the Modular Data Center vertical to develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that supports rapid business scaling, talent acquisition, and long-term growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of plant HR Managers, ensuring alignment and flawless execution of HR initiatives.
  • Build and scale the HR infrastructure for the Modular Data Center vertical, establishing foundational systems, processes, and policies to support the business as it evolves from a startup to a mature organization.
  • Drive aggressive talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top-tier talent, building a high-performing organization capable of navigating challenges such as market entry and brand development.
  • Lead strategic workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning to ensure the business has the talent and structure required to meet its strategic goals.
  • Act as a coach and advisor to the leadership team, fostering a culture of innovation, trust, accountability, and agility.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive talent management programs, including performance management, leadership development, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
  • Champion and promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring that all HR practices and talent strategies are equitable and attract a diverse workforce.
  • Analyze and present HR metrics to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to business leadership.
  • Serve as a trusted member of the Modular Data Center leadership team, aligning HR strategies with business goals.

Required Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in an HR leadership role managing direct reports.
  • Demonstrated success creating and executing HR strategy in a fast-paced, high-growth, or scaling business environment. Experience within a startup-like setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong and direct experience supporting manufacturing operations is required.
  • Proven leadership and change management skills with the ability to build, inspire, and develop cross-functional teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, financial acumen, and coaching skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. HR Laws, compliance, and best practices. Canada experience is a plus.
  • Ability to build strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Travel:

  • Up to 20% travel is expected across North America to engage with leadership, partners, and manufacturing sites.
