Position Description TheManufacturing EngineerIplays a critical role in driving manufacturing excellence bysupporting, improving, and optimizing production processes. This position focuses on, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing engineering and a passion for operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead and support process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies. Implement and maintain manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling to improve production efficiency and product quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and design engineering to resolve manufacturing issues. Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Support new product introductionsbydeveloping and validating manufacturing processes. Create and maintain process documentation includingstandard work,work instructions, PFMEAs, and control plans. Ensure compliance with safety,environmental, and regulatory standards. Provide technical support and training to production staff as needed. Participate in capital equipment selection and justification. Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for process-related issues. Other job duties as assigned.
