Join Clariant and help ensure our operations run efficiently by managing and optimizing our technical storeroom and spare parts inventory. In this role, you will maintain accurate material data, support maintenance and operations teams with critical parts and supplies, and build strong vendor relationships to ensure timely deliveries and reliable stock levels. Your organization, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement will help maintain inventory accuracy and keep our site performing at its best.


Responsibilities



  • Maintain the CMM system, equipment and facilities, for stores and spare part management. Includes but not limited to orderring, recieiving, dispensing, storing, conducting cycle counts, as well as inventory recovery, salvage and cataloguing of of all materials
  • Ensure 100% accuracy of technical materials.
  • Optimize and continually improve the stock system (descriptions, max./min. stock volumes, etc.) and recommend disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock.
  • Write purchase requisitions for storeroom material and supplies when inventory quantities are reduced below requirements, reques quotes, maintain material master and vendor sourcing as references when ordering.
  • Obtain information from operations, maintence, and engineering personnel regarding new spare and/or replacement parts to stock
  • Responsible for vendor relations including vendor managed inventories, on time deliveries, updating pricing, invoice issues, new part sourcing, and voice of customer complaints i.e. damaged or missing deliveries .
  • Process and inspect goods recieved both physically and systematically
  • Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions.
  • Facilicate, perform, and enter monthly, quarterly, and annually cycle for all site inventory including spare parts, raw material, and finished goods. Reconcile and investigate any discrepencies
  • Operate forklift to unload truck and manage all technical stores work areas



Requirements



  • High School Diploma, GED
  • 5 yrs experience in storeroom and/or industrial maintenance environment
  • SAP, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to identify mechanical and electrical parts.
  • Must be forklift certified
