The Electric Transmission & Distribution Team is responsible for ensuring the electric grid's reliability and resiliency through the ongoing maintenance and operations of PG&E's 100,000 miles of distribution lines and over 18,000 miles of Transmission lines. Position Summary The Program Menager, Expert level job requires the ability to execute Asset Management and Failure Analysis initiatives. This position is responsible for supporting and or leading failure investigation including but limited to equipment failure and ignition. The Program Manager would need to cross functionally collaborate with other teams including Maintenance and Construction, Engineering, Compliance and with colleagues to ensure learnings from investigations are used to modify asset risk strategies. Position duties may include but are not limited to- * Keep abreast with industry through attending conferences and expos, working with vendors and suppliers, maintaining relationships with internal and external technical experts. Location is flexible within the PG&E Service Territory but there is a preference for the incumbent to be based in Oakland, please note hiring leader will make final decision of what are appropriate headquarters for the role based on business need. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory. Position will require approximately 15% of travel time in work schedule. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
