    Qualifications: To thrive in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and possess a valid Minnesota teaching license specific in the area of DCD, ASD or ABS. You should have a strong foundation in child development theories and the creative ability to translate complex concepts into engaging, grade-appropriate lessons that resonate with your students. Beyond academic credentials, we value excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit, as you will work closely with parents, staff, and administrators to advocate for student success.

    Pay Rate/Range: 2026-2027 NEA Agreement BA-$57,681 - MA40-$95,320. Base pay DOQ

    Responsibilities:
    In this impactful role, you will lead one of two specialized setting III elementary classrooms: RISE (Reaching Independence and Striving for Excellence), historically known as our DCD program, or SOAR (Support, Opportunities, Achieve & Respect), our program focused on NB/ASD support.

    As a dedicated IEP Manager and the primary point of contact for families, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design personalized educational plans that pave the way for student success. You will foster an inclusive and respectful classroom environment that fosters student responsibility, while providing mentorship and instructional guidance and direction to a supportive team of paraprofessionals. As a vital consultant and community partner, you will share your professional expertise to adapt learning environments and implement effective interventions, ensuring every student has the tools they need to thrive. This position offers a vibrant platform for professional growth, allowing you to stay at the forefront of educational trends while making a lasting, positive difference in the lives of your students and the broader community.
