Tool Room Attendant - Central Campus PRIMARY FUNCTION: Maintain neat and accurate records; organize and separate projects; prepare cost estimates; provide necessary assistance to instructors or students; assist in budget planning; maintain lab; inventory tools Essential Job Functions: Project a positive image and promote the college Perform proper maintenance on tool room equipment Clean and maintain lab Have input and help in inventory control Maintain neat and accurate records on supply usage Perform routine maintenance on equipment in lab Assist instructors and students in mixing paint for class projects Additional Job Functions: Must be a certified forklift operator here at SJC Preparing materials for instructional purposes. Using various equipment, tools at welding. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Have the ability to repair and maintain welding tools and other equipment Required Education: High School Diploma Required Experience: A minimum of 2 years field experience Preferred Experience: At least 5 years experience Required Licenses/Certifications: Certificate in Welding Note: The duties of this position require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location during unrestricted operations with very limited or no opportunity for remote work arrangements.
