Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

The Business Continuity/Recovery Consultant will lead the Enterprise Process Framework strategic pillar for Business Resiliency as part of our mission to deliver an effective and efficient business continuity program for the enterprise. This work is a core dependency for other enterprise initiatives including IT resiliency, Third Party Risk Management, Enterprise Crisis Management, and the Enterprise Governance Risk and Compliance framework. You will report to the Director of Business Resiliency

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110; Denver, CO 80112; Eden Prairie, MN 55343; Keene, NH 03431; St. Joseph, MO 64507; Phoenix, AZ 85034.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Leads development and execution of the business continuity Enterprise Process Framework strategy and initiatives.
  • Establishes and coordinates the process for regular updating, and distribution of incident management and business continuity plans for our most critical processes.
  • Leads business continuity plan exercises and evaluates results.
  • Coordinates the recovery effort in an incident or business disruption in collaboration with Incident Management Principal and Incident Response Team Leads.
  • Promotes the value and benefits of business resiliency strategy and continuity plans through awareness events.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of business resiliency concepts, practices, techniques and tools.
  • Proven expertise in leading organizational transformation initiatives
  • Experience translating process workflows for technology implementation preferred
  • Onspring or similar GRC platform experience preferred
  • American Productivity and Quality Center (APQC) familiarity preferred
  • Demonstrated success providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex projects.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting information to a wide array of audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting concepts and initiative results to executives and senior leaders.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.

Industry certifications preferred

  • Certified Business Continuity Professional, Lean Six Sigma, or similar
