Back Registered Nurse (RN) Manager - PRN #107629 Redding, California, United States Apply X Facebook LinkedIn Email Copy Position Type PRN (no set schedule or hours) Shift 1st, 2nd, 3rd - with week-ends Work Schedule Varies based on Program need Requirements The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) CA license Associate's Degree Valid driver's license 2 years working in residential setting and with individuals with mental health issues and/or developmental disabilities 1 year experience supervising RN's open to working PRN shifts Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook Description We are seeking a compassionate nursing professional for a Registered Nurse (RN) Manager PRN position in Redding, CA, providing personcentered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) receiving ISS (Individualized Skills and Socialization) services. The RN manager oversees LVNs, and LPT staff statewide for CA IDD Services and ensures highquality clinical care through ongoing assessment, treatment, and resolution of health needs, this role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully on an asneeded basis. Responsibilities include: Policy & Compliance: Implement and maintain program and nursing policies in alignment with regulatory requirements and support preparation for licensure reviews. Clinical & Medical Support: Provide comprehensive medical support, including appointments, followup, onsite care, and oversight of medical data systems such as eMAR. Leadership & Staff Development: Supervise, train, and evaluate nursing staff, including leading Medication Management training for new and current employees. Collaboration & Communication: Partner with program leadership, maintain appropriate family communication, represent the organization at external meetings and events, and maintain frequent contact with external stakeholders as needed. Operational Support: Participate in recruiting and onboarding nursing staff, serve as a liaison to internal and external partners, maintain a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as required, and perform additional related duties as assigned Earn $75 per hour.
