The Senior System Analyst, EMobility Technology, Design & Tools Platform Design, supports the operation and enhancement of EMobility program platforms and tools. This role partners with stakeholders to gather requirements, support system updates, analyze data, and deliver improvements that enhance functionality, user experience, and overall program effectiveness.

Operations of Con Edisons existing and development of new E-Mobility portals and tools for both internal and external user functionality.

Crafting actionable recommendations that support measurable program or user experience improvements to existing portals and tools.

Gathering requirements and acceptance criteria for platform enhancements.

Supporting with the testing and implementation of updates to or creation of expanded program platforms and tools.

Supporting with collecting, cleaning, and analyzing datasets as needed.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities
  • The Senior System Analyst for E-Mobility Tech, Design Services & Tools will support with ongoing operations of Con Edison programs, services, and IT tools to ensure programmatic success and efficiencies.
  • Support identification, prioritization, and fulfillment of the E-Mobility teams ongoing business needs related to the program portals, services, and tools, and other Company systems that are used to implement the programs and services.
  • Support with gathering requirements and acceptance criteria for enhancements. Assist with managing and maintaining the product backlog.
  • Support troubleshooting, improvements, testing and implementation of new functionality for program portal and tool integrations with other systems.
  • As needed, train and support internal E-Mobility Team users, including business development and program management teams, on best practices and usage of program and services platforms and tools.
  • Assist with data collection, manipulation, and analysis needed for reporting and visualizations.
  • Work effectively and help lead cross-functional teams responsible for new department initiatives that may arise from time to time.
  • Provide problem solving and strategic support related to platforms and tools for the department.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
  • Ensure that safe work practices are followed, and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant experience or
  • Master's Degree and 2 years of relevant experience
Preferred Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree Degree in IT, energy, or sustainability disciplines and 3 years utility or other business work experience managing IT projects Managing IT projects Experience with Salesforce is a

Relevant Work Experience
  • Demonstrated agility and flexibility to deal with ambiguity and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, required.

  • Excellent organizational capabilities and proven successful management of detailed, complex initiatives, required.
  • Experience managing successful implementation of IT projects, preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce, preferred.
  • Experience with agile management practices, preferred.
  • Experience with PowerBI and/or other data visualization tools, preferred.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), preferred.
  • Strong communications, presentation, writing and analytical skills, preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Driver's License Required
Additional Physical Demands
  • The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
