As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Vehicle Driver in Mount Morris, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, support access control, and assist staff and visitors with a customer-service mindset. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license and meeting AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while staying agile, reliable, and innovative.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office, campus, and/or telecom facility areas, including exterior perimeter checks, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, check identification and/or credentials as required by site policy, and document authorized entries and exits.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or disruptions per post orders.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision, and assist with basic customer inquiries as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
• CPR/First Aid - preferred.
• Customer Service Experience - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
