As a Security Officer - Gatehouse Access in Carson City, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter points, as applicable to the site.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns through approved reporting channels.
• Support access control by verifying visitor credentials, issuing temporary badges as directed by site policy, and maintaining accurate logs and reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
