A dynamic and experienced Sales Process Leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing sales processes. The ideal candidate has a strong background in sales, sales enablement, Lean methodologies, and continuous improvement practices, including Value Stream Mapping (VSM). Six Sigma and/or Lean certification is highly desirable. This role leads teams performing project management duties involving crossfunctional groups focused on delivering internal products or administrative systems. It oversees planning and scheduling, monitors programs and projects from initiation through delivery, and interfaces with internal Sales customers. The position organizes project activities and interdepartmental meetings, ensures communication flow, and drives onschedule project completion. It may assign and monitor work of technical personnel, providing guidance on instructions and objectives. The role also selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Sales Process Management: Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of customercentric sales processes that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
  • Lean and Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean tools-including Value Stream Mapping (VSM)-to identify waste, streamline workflows, and drive innovative process improvements that strengthen operational agility.
  • Project Leadership: Manage and execute multiple crossfunctional projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment, ontime execution, risk mitigation, and highquality outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner crossfunctionally with Sales, Order Management, and additional business groups to ensure transparent communication and consistent endtoend process execution.
  • Training & Development: Deliver process training, enablement, and coaching to strengthen sales capability and foster an accountable and collaborative team culture.
  • Performance Monitoring: Measure and report on process performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions that support continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans that accelerate sales efficiency, enhance customer value, and support organizational growth.
  • Team Leadership: Select, develop, mentor, and evaluate team members to ensure effective operations and support a highperforming, authentic, and collaborative environment.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, sales operations, or sales support with a proven history of improving sales processes.
  • Demonstrated experience with Lean methodologies, including handson use of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and continuous improvement practices.
  • Project Management Experience: Proven ability to plan, lead, and execute complex crossfunctional projects; skilled in project scoping, scheduling, change management, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problemsolving skills with an accountable and customerfocused mindset.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales enablement tools.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or Lean equivalent certification.
  • Experience in sales enablement, sales methodologies, process training, or sales process design.
  • Background supporting technology products or solutions within the Utilities & Energy sector.
  • Experience leading teams in continuous improvement or operational excellence initiatives.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience and may vary by location. The base salary is $75,000-138,000 annually.
