The Opportunity In this role, you will shape how advanced power quality solutions support the reliability, security, and flexibility of modern power grids. As part of Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration business, you will manage and grow a control engineering organization delivering Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) solutions that help grid owners expand transmission capacity while maintaining stable and secure operation. You will head a team of control engineers working across control applications, SCADA, HMI, network design, and cyber security, supported by dedicated test organizations responsible for control and protection testing infrastructure. Your work will connect advanced control system design with real-world grid applications, using Hitachi Energy's MACH control, protection, and monitoring platform built on highperformance digital and communication technologies. Operating in a global environment, you will collaborate closely with project teams and crossfunctional partners within Power Quality Solutions to meet contractual, safety, quality, and delivery commitments. You will also help steer organizational improvements and capability growth to support future business needs. Through your work, you directly contribute to safer, more resilient transmission systems and the continued evolution of power grids worldwide. How You'll Make an Impact
