As a Security Officer - Armed Arrestee Transport in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to situations with clear communication and detailed reports. This is an armed post requiring an armed guard card/license and driving under Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will deliver professional customer service while supporting a culture that is agile, reliable, innovative, people-first, and built on teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a government location.
  • Patrol assigned areas on foot and/or by vehicle to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify irregular conditions, and report concerns in accordance with post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; request law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed and authorized.
  • Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification, monitoring entrances and exits, and documenting authorized entries and departures per site policy.
  • Prepare clear written reports and maintain required logs of patrols, incidents, and security-related activities; communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Be 21 years of age or older.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
