We are looking for a Director of Expert Partners in 401 N Michigan Ave, Suite 1400, Chicago, IL 60611 USA. Your mission will be to:
This position is the primary executive accountable for the commercial success, strategic growth, and P&L performance of the Consulting and Training service lines within the North American Expert Partners business unit. As a key leader in the "Becoming a Full Solution Provider" initiative, the incumbent focuses on scaling the business to meet increasing customer demands for high-level consulting partnerships. This role operates within a global matrix, collaborating with the Global Expert Services Hub to pilot, adapt, and scale international best practices for the North American market.
YOUR PROFILE
Qualifications Required
MS and 10+ years or BS and 15+ years of professional experience.
Business mastery with advanced knowledge of finance, budgeting, and sales/marketing practices within a professional services environment.
Broad understanding of the food science and safety landscape (used for strategy and client consultation, not for technical audit validation.
Fluency in English; ease with international coordination and high-stakes presentations.
Qualifications Desired
Deep understanding of financial indicators, market dynamics, and
competitive pricing analysis.
Influential Leadership: Proven ability to navigate a matrixed global organization and lead through influence rather than just direct authority.
Ability to move beyond "check-the-box" services to create high- value, bespoke consulting solutions for enterprise clients.
Strategic Networking: Excellence in building high-trust relationships with C-Suite stakeholders
and industry trade associations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Full ownership of revenue, margin, and expense management for North American consulting and education groups.
Develop and execute multi-year business plans to transition the unit from a reactive service provider to a proactive full solutions strategic partner.
Manage revenue projections and annual budgets, implementing contingency plans to ensure financial targets are consistently met.
Solutions architect, partner with Global Key Account (GKA) teams and Sales to design customized, high-margin advisory packages that address complex client business challenges.
Act as the primary architect for sales training materials; mentor the sales force on market positioning, value propositions, and closing complex consulting deals.
Collaborate with Marketing to define market strategies, competitive pricing models, and brand positioning for the Training and Consulting pillars.
Direct the logistics of service delivery and oversee the professional development of the revenue-generating team.
Act as the North American liaison to the Global Hub Expert team to share, learn, and replicate successful global commercial models.
Strategically manage the balance of internal staff and external contractors to maximize profitability and service agility.
Other related duties as assigned.

Communication
Direct Supervisor: Reports to the Vice President of Expert Partners and regularly communicates for guidance, performance feedback, and project updates.
Team Members: Collaborates with team members in the Expert Partners to ensure effective execution of tasks, exchange of information, and teamwork in daily operations.
Compensation Package Overview:
Compensation Range - $160,000 - $175,000 annual salary USD
Potential bonus: Up to 15% based on performance.
