The Health Account Services Account Executive drives revenue growth by selling consumerdirected healthcare (CDH) solutions-including HSAs, FSAs, HRAs, and Commuter Benefits-through a consultative, fullcycle sales approach. This role builds pipeline, closes netnew business, and expands an assigned book of clients through outbound prospecting and broker and partnerled opportunities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Develop and maintain a highquality, comprehensive sales pipeline to meet or exceed annual sales targets, while delivering accurate sales forecasts through disciplined account planning and prioritization.
  • Manage an assigned book of business by balancing new client acquisition with strategic expansion of existing relationships within the territory, consistently closing new accounts and driving netnew revenue growth.
  • Leverage deep expertise in Section 125 regulations, taxadvantaged benefit strategies, and financial technology to consult with clients on optimizing their employee benefits programs. Through a consultative sales approach, identify client needs, position tailored consumerdriven health (CDH) solutions, and ensure successful adoption and satisfaction across all stakeholder groups.
  • Proactively identify, pursue, and convert sales opportunities through outbound prospecting and partnerdriven channels, with a strong focus on health plans, brokers, and thirdparty partners.
  • Execute a datadriven sales strategy that maximizes brokerled opportunities while supporting both short and longterm growth objectives.
  • Support ongoing client retention and account expansion by maintaining trusted relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and partnering with internal teams to ensure continued client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Retail Banking network to strengthen and grow partnerships through targeted training efforts and ongoing evaluation of local market conditions to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Independently manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through close, including discovery, solution positioning, negotiation, and final execution.
  • Leverage strong presales expertise to influence buying decisions and clearly articulate First American Bank's value proposition to prospective clients.
  • Establish credibility quickly and build trusted client relationships that drive sales momentum, repeat opportunities, and longterm account expansion.
  • Apply a consultative selling approach to uncover client needs and position tailored solutions that address and solve meaningful business challenges.
  • Communicate persuasively and confidently across all settings, including inperson meetings, phone calls, written communications, virtual platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams), and formal presentations.
  • Demonstrate creativity and confidence when presenting solutions, adapting messaging to resonate with diverse decisionmakers and buying scenarios.
  • Operate with strong organization, time management, and selfdiscipline to effectively manage a highactivity, performancedriven role.
  • Conduct and complete additional assignments/projects as designated by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School degree or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of outside (field) sales experience is required. This role involves independent prospecting, outbound sales activity, pipeline development, and execution of a selfdirected sales plan.
  • Experience selling Employee Benefits, Asset Management, or Benefits Consulting solutions is strongly preferred. Candidates with extensive experience in these products, markets, and consultative sales environments are highly valued.
  • Indepth knowledge of Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), consumerdriven health care, and health insurance products-including group and individual plans, managed care models, and the agent/broker distribution system is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Strong coldcalling and outbound prospecting skills, with the ability to generate new business through assertive, persistent, and positive sales techniques.
  • Must be professional, comfortable speaking with external and internal contacts with a demonstrated ability to tailor the message appropriately to the audience and situation effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to convey thoughts and ideas effectively and succinctly via written formats, including emails, letters, and electronic platforms. Maintain professional standards relating to spelling and grammar.
  • Maintain credibility through professional demeanor, appearance, and presence by modeling standards appropriate to our environment and industry.
  • Maintain good working relationships with internal partners by exhibiting exemplary interpersonal skills, adopting a constructive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Use sound professional judgment to balance the interests of the organization and customer, understanding and using available resources to mitigate risks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products and applications, including the ability to effectively prepare or review documents, procedures, and reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and applications, as well as the ability to understand, adapt and adjust responsibilities/workflows as a result of system upgrades.
  • This position requires regular travel to various locations throughout the Bank's market. Occasional out-of-state travel may be required.
  • Typical hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be required depending upon business need.
  • Punctuality is required to maintain First American Bank's customer service standards.
