Reporting to the President of the Conveyance Solutions Division within Regal Rexnord's Automation and Motion Control (AMC) segment, the Senior Director of Product Management and Engineering will lead global product strategy, innovation, and execution. This division includes 1,800 associates across 10 manufacturing sites and generates approximately $500M in annual revenue. The preferred location for this role is Milwaukee, WI.

This executive will oversee product management, design engineering, marketing, and strategic planning, driving organic growth through product excellence, innovation, and disciplined business system deployment. The role requires strong cross-functional leadership to align teams across sales, marketing, operations, and business units, ensuring best-in-class product lifecycle management and operational performance.

A key responsibility is building and developing a high-performing team of product managers who thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. The leader will also champion customer satisfaction and market share growth through strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.

Major Responsibilities:

People Leadership

  • Training and Development - Attract, develop, and retain talent within the department to ensure the competency level of all employees is enough to be fully effective in their roles.
  • Establish a results-oriented management style that measures and evaluates individual performance against clearly defined accountable competencies, responsibilities and objectives.

Product Leadership

  • Manage the product line P&L and the entire life cycle of all product lines within the business from strategic planning, product definition, tactical launch activities and end of life
  • Develop and implement product IoT initiative and strategy
  • Operate as the internal voice of our customers across development teams, (primarily Engineering, Sales and Marketing) through an understanding of market requirements, product definition, training and launch activities
  • Develop and implement a cohesive short- and long-term product line roadmaps
  • Implement a robust product line simplification and platforming process that delivers cost savings and efficiencies
  • Coordinate and lead the on-going Innovation/VOC exercises. Combining this information with a business case analysis to define business requirements and the products value proposition.
  • Manage new product development initiatives, return-on-Investment analysis, business cases and new product applications
  • Own the NPD funnel and use CFI process to drive NPD projects in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop core messaging and positioning for all products within the business based on the established value proposition
  • Define pricing and sales strategy/policies for all products within the business and drives these through the division
  • Maintain a high level of expertise in the competitive landscape including competitive product and pricing strategy
  • Collaborate with other segment and division Product Managers to develop effective divisional product line development opportunities.
  • Analyze potential partner relationships that can either enhance current offerings or fill necessary gaps in offerings.
  • Leverage 80/20 and continuous improvement in all aspects of product management, decision making and actively participate in on-going projects team that maximize overall organizational effectiveness and efficiency
  • Consolidate divisional annual sales plans for all products, promotional and advertising efforts, and other meaningful data

Professional Experience/Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with in-depth industry experience and a true passion to win. A strong work ethic with proactive communication skills that encourages courageous conversations are a must.

  • 10+ years in senior business leadership roles, preferably with experience in commercial strategy and business systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading multinational teams and driving cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong background in product management, engineering, and strategic planning.
  • Have an understanding of customer's buying cycle and decision-making process.
  • Must have a passion for technology and innovation.
  • Must have a good working understanding of selling and marketing in a global environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Preferred experience in working with 80/20, Policy Deployment methodologies preferred
  • Experience with business systems such as RBS or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
