About the Role

The Senior Director, Production Print Marketing leads the strategic development and execution of go-to-market initiatives to drive market share and revenue growth within the production printing sector. This role exists to bridge the gap between product innovation and sales success by cultivating a dominant brand presence through expert customer marketing and high-level industry influence. The successful candidate will accelerate demand and deliver effective sales enablement tools that position Canon as the premier choice in the Production Print space.


Your Impact

Represent Canon at Industry Events: Serve as a primary brand ambassador and keynote presence at major industry trade shows to showcase technological advancements and build executive-level rapport with prospective clients and partners.
Cultivate Media and Analyst Relations: Establish and maintain authoritative relationships with key industry analysts and trade media to secure favorable positioning, positive reviews, and thought leadership opportunities for Canon.
Lead Strategic Go-to-Market (GTM) Planning: Orchestrate the comprehensive GTM strategy for the Production Print portfolio by aligning product strategies with market demands to ensure successful communications and sustained commercial momentum.
Direct Customer Marketing & Demand Generation: Lead the strategic growth, demand generation, and pipeline generation for the production print portfolio.
Drive Sales Enablement and Field Support: Partner closely with the sales organization by providing market intelligence, specialized sales tools, and high-level support for targeted opportunities to increase win rates against.


About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, or Business, plus 15 years of related experience
- Industry Knowledge: A minimum of 15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience within the Production Print or Graphic Communications industry, with specific knowledge of inkjet, toner, and finishing workflows.
- Workstyle: Remote, but requiring regular onsite presence at Melville, NY Headquarters and regional offices.
- Travel: Significant domestic and occasional international travel is required (approximately 60-70%) to visit headquarters and regional offices, attend trade shows and industry events, and meet with key accounts (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
- Executive Presence: Ability to distill complex technical data into compelling narratives for C-suite stakeholders and industry analysts.
- Bilingual: Fluency in both English and Spanish to effectively lead cross-cultural teams and engage diverse customer bases across the production print and packaging markets.
- No specific professional licenses are required; however, certifications in Strategic Marketing or Executive Leadership are preferred.
We are providing the anticipated base salary range for this role: $182, 990 - $274, 040. There is also MBO bonus opportunity, car allowance and gas card.
