What you will be doing
Analyzes, designs, codes, and tests software programs and applications, while researching and modifying software specifications throughout the production lifecycle.
- Collaborates with developers, programmers, and designers to conceptualize new software programs.
- Liaises with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to resolve software and system issues.
- Assesses existing business systems and procedures, defining and documenting business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications.
- Develops software project plans, including scope, scheduling, and implementation.
- Writes, translates, and codes software programs accurately according to specifications.
- Designs, runs, and monitors software performance tests to correct errors, improve functionality, and debug.
- Creates programming scripts to enhance application performance and maintains user manuals and guidelines.
- Analyzes test results and provides solutions to issues.
- Trains end users on new or modified programs and installs software as needed.
- Generates statistics and reports on programming process status for management and team members.
- Conducts research on emerging software products, languages, and standards to support development efforts.
- Liaises with vendors for efficient software implementation and issue resolution.
- Recommends, schedules, and performs software improvements and upgrades.
- Provides leadership and guidance to junior team members.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field required.
- 4+ years related experience required.
- Experience with Python, Spark, and other data prcoessing frameworks preferred
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate) preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of current IT technologies, desktop hardware, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office products required.
- Specialized Skills: T-SQL, Python, Power BI, Database Administration, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks.
