Summary Job Description: Unit Overview: 5G/H is a42 bedtelemetry unit specializing in complex patients with multiple co-morbidities, palliative care, colorectal surgeries with progressive ERAS protocols, and MDRO patients. The patient population is transferred from ICU,EDand PACU. Shift:PRNDays Job Description: Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed care teammember: Provides direct patient care and related support by performing selected nursing procedures. Performs routine duties toassistmedical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and care of patients. Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certificationrequiredor successful completion of first year of a Nursing program and validation of a clinical rotation consistent with level of education. Must provide a letter from their school verifying the completion of theirfirst yearclinicals. BasicLifeSupport- Applicants will have30 daysfrom their hired date to provide completion of this certification if theydon'thave it already.
