A day in the life:

The Lead Floor Tech will oversee and perform the cleaning, maintenance, and restoration of all hard surfaces and carpeted floors within the facility. This role involves leading a team, ensuring quality floor care services, and operating specialized equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Must have a valid driver's license. Project cleaner will be driving to different locations, using Harvard's vehicle to complete floor care projects.

This region includes:

Bloomingdale, Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, Warrenville, Naperville, Aurora, Batavia, St Charles, Geneva, South Elgin, Elburn, Sycamore, Dekalb, Hampshire and Waterman.

Must pass background check which includes driving record.

• Deliver high-quality service and professionalism, upholding the standards and integrity of the Environmental Services Department
• Clean, maintain, and care for a variety of floor types, including tile, carpet, and brick
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and on schedule
• Follow established procedures for the correct use of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Operate, maintain, and care for floor cleaning equipment safely and properly
• Consistently observe safety protocols, including the use of "wet floor" signs and other precautions
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Promptly report any safety hazards or concerns

• Minimum of (2) years' experience and Supervisory experience
• Must know how to Strip, Refinish and Burnish Hard Floors
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable transportation
• A valid Driver's License with good driving record may be required
