POSITION SUMMARYThe UC Student Finance Summer Intern provides project-based support to the department's finance team while gaining hands-on experience with University of California budgeting, financial reporting, and internal control practices. This entry-level role is designed for currently enrolled students and emphasizes learning, mentorship, and supervised skill development. The Student Intern will assist with defined assignments of limited scope and complexity under close supervision and will not perform the full responsibilities of a Financial Analyst career position nor exercise independent fiscal authority. This internship provides exposure to UC financial systems, fund management practices, and stewardship responsibilities. The selected University of California student will receive ongoing supervision, mentoring, and feedback throughout the appointment.
