Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting new and existing clients in solving their capital project needs, generating new clients, supporting existing clients, and advancing the business development process. You will actively participate in the planning and execution of company marketing activities providing vital input based on your interactions with prospects.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support national growth initiatives across the Consumer Products markets, driving expansion and strengthening our presence within these key sectors
  • Maximizes market penetration within target sectors by researching and identifying strategic contacts, building a robust pipeline of qualified prospects
  • Conducts sales calls and maintains consistent engagement with prospects through contract execution, continuing relationship management during project delivery and following completion to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships
  • Together with Project Director, develops specific "win" strategy for proposals and presentations
  • Identifies need for and develops promotional materials and programs to enhance Division's market position or improve selling strategy
  • Plans, coordinates, and actively participates in industry trade shows and conferences to enhance brand visibility, expand professional networks, and generate new business opportunities.
  • Becomes an active member in appropriate national, state, regional, community and industry organizations
Education & Years of Experience:
  • Minimum of a 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five years' experience in engineering, construction marketing, or a related field
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
  • Demonstrated sales and business development experience within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, with direct experience serving the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector
  • Proven ability to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities, cultivating long-term relationships with key decision-makers
  • Strong understanding of market trends, client needs, and competitive landscape to strategically position services and solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving measurable business growth
  • Experience planning and representing the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and client events
  • Self-motivated and highly organized, capable of managing multiple accounts and projects simultaneously

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.

Responsibilities

En este puesto colaborara con el lider de Mercado para disenar e implementar estrategias comerciales y de marketing ambiciosas que permitan alcanzar los objetivos generales de la empresa y de los proyectos, manteniendo la rentabilidad. Sera responsable de investigar y seleccionar prospectos, realizar acciones de prospeccion comercial y mantener la comunicacion con los clientes potenciales desde el primer contacto hasta la firma del contrato y el cierre del proyecto. Tambien trabajara con el Lider de Mercado, los Gerentes de Diseno, los Directores de Proyecto y los propios clientes para desarrollar propuestas completas, reducir retrabajos mediante procesos de "value engineering" y asegurar una alta satisfaccion del cliente. Entre sus funciones se incluye colaborar con el equipo de marketing en el desarrollo de propuestas, presencia digital, participacion en ferias y otros materiales, asi como apoyar a los equipos de ejecucion aportando informacion de contexto y ayudando a definir la estrategia de presentaciones. Representara a Haskell en eventos sectoriales y cumbres tecnicas, y trabajara con los lideres de Mercado y de Division en actividades de captacion de clientes, investigacion de mercado y definicion de estrategias de segmentacion. Ademas, dirigira y apoyara a los equipos de Desarrollo de Negocio de distintos mercados en el diseno de estrategias de alcance a clientes, comunicaciones, tecnicas de venta y presentaciones, y liderara presentaciones especificas por mercado. Otra parte clave del puesto sera coordinarse con el liderazgo de ingenieria para identificar las competencias tecnicas necesarias en cada oportunidad y ayudar a definir la mejor estrategia para responder a las necesidades de cada proyecto. Prestara apoyo a los Directores de Proyecto en el desarrollo de oportunidades y estrategias de captura, sera miembro activo de asociaciones profesionales y organizaciones sectoriales en distintos niveles geograficos y viajara con la frecuencia que las responsabilidades requieran. Podran asignarse otras tareas afines segun las necesidades del negocio. Para tener exito en este cargo se requieren excelentes habilidades de comunicacion, organizacion y seguimiento, titulo universitario en Ingenieria Civil, Ambiental u otra rama afin (o experiencia equivalente) y al menos 10 anos de experiencia en la industria AEC. Vous aurez pour mission de rechercher et qualifier des prospects, de conduire la prospection commerciale et de maintenir la relation avec eux depuis le premier contact jusqu'a la signature du contrat puis la cloture du projet. Vous collaborerez avec le leader de Marche, les responsables de conception, les directeurs de projet et les clients afin de developper des solutions completes, de limiter les reprises grace aux demarches de "value engineering" et de garantir une forte satisfaction client. Vos activites comprendront la collaboration avec l'equipe marketing sur la preparation des propositions, la visibilite numerique, la participation aux salons professionnels et la mise en uvre de supports et de strategies marketing, ainsi que l'appui aux equipes d'execution par la fourniture d'elements de contexte et la contribution a la strategie de presentation. Vous representerez Haskell lors d'evenements sectoriels et de sommets techniques, et travaillerez avec les responsables de Marche et de Division sur les actions d'acquisition de clients, les etudes de marche et les strategies de ciblage. Vous animerez et soutiendrez les equipes de Developpement Commercial de differents marches en matiere de strategie de prospection, de communication, de techniques de vente et de presentations, et prendrez la tete de presentations specifiques a certains marches. Vous coordonnerez egalement avec la direction de l'ingenierie l'identification des competences techniques requises pour chaque opportunite et contribuerez a definir la strategie la plus adaptee aux besoins de projet. Vous assisterez les directeurs de projet dans le developpement des poursuites et des strategies de conquete, participerez activement a des organisations professionnelles et associatives aux niveaux national, regional et local et voyagerez en fonction des exigences du poste. D'autres responsabilites connexes pourront vous etre confiees en fonction des besoins. Pour reussir, il est necessaire de disposer d'excellentes aptitudes en communication, organisation et suivi, d'un diplome de niveau licence en genie civil, environnemental ou autre specialite pertinente (ou d'une experience equivalente) et d'au moins dix annees d'experience dans le secteur AEC.
