The Program Coordinator for the Residential Colleges (RCs) supports the academic and community life of the University of Virginia's three Residential Colleges. This shared position (live-off, based in Charlottesville, VA) is responsible for day-to-day operations, program coordination, and student advising across all RCs. The Program Coordinator works closely with the Faculty Principals, the Special Assistant, Housing & Residence Life and student leadership to advance the RCs' mission of integrating academic engagement, community building, and student self-governance.
This position is part of a coordinated professional staff team-including a Special Assistant and Financial Generalist-who collectively support the Residential Colleges. The Program Coordinator ensures operational consistency and excellence across the RCs while supporting each community's unique culture and intellectual focus. By collaborating closely with student leaders and Principals, the Program Coordinator helps shape a dynamic environment that integrates intellectual, social, and civic growth. About the Position The salary range for this position is $45,000-60,000 and is commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is an exempt-level position with UVabenefits. This is an in-person, live-off position, located in Charlottesville, Virginia. Housing & Residence Life business hours are Mon-Fri: 8am-5pm. To support program needs, evening and weekend work may be required on occasions.
