Short Description

The incumbent will provide program management for existing MILDAF initiatives with key external partners. Additionally, the incumbent will be expected to develop new initiatives for emerging requirements and will provide clinical support to MILDAF's deployable field surgical and hospital capabilities.

  1. With limited supervision, serve as project manager for assigned initiatives in support of external partners.
  2. Serve as an educator in MILDAF training classes for both internal and external customers.
  3. Provide contingency planning and logistics support to MILDAF field response capabilities.
  4. When directed by the Chief Surgeon, provide clinical support to MILDAF field response capabilities.
  5. When directed, coordinate with external partners to develop new initiatives in support of their emerging requirements.
  6. Coordinate the development of IT solutions to improve MILDAF operations.
  7. Coordinate the development of emergency communications capabilities to improve MILDAF integration with regional and Federal response operations.
  8. Represent MILDAF on cross-cutting initiatives with Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, and Critical Care.
  9. Other duties as assigned in support of emerging requirements.
  10. Assist in identifying and applying for grants and other funding mechanisms within both the federal and other pathways.

Experience Required

Previous experience working with Cooper University Health Care and operational medicine experience within the U.S. government. 6-10 years of experience.


Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Disaster Medicine or other health sciences.


License/Certification Requirements

Must have active Paramedic level licensure. U.S. SOCOM ATP will be considered in lieu of National Registry Paramedic licensure.

Hourly Rate Min $29
Hourly Rate Max $50


The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position.

A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
