Product Operations Sr Analyst

*This is a hybrid position out of Denver.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Product Operations Sr Analyst is a key enabler of how our product teams work. This role sits at the intersection of people, process, technology, and data; partnering with product managers, engineers, designers, and researchers to drive adoption of new tools, operationalize process improvements, and lead organizational change. You are a skilled communicator and facilitator who can present confidently to large audiences, influence without authority, translate operational complexity into clarity-using qualitative insights and performance data to guide teams and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Lead the evaluation, rollout, and adoption of product management (PM) tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Workboard, TargetProcess, and other PM platforms), ensuring they meet team and operational needs and integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of product performance and track user interaction metrics to provide insights and actionable recommendations for performance improvements.
  • Design and drive change management strategies that support process improvements and tool transitions across product teams.
  • Develop and deliver training, enablement materials, and live facilitation sessions, including presentations to large, cross-functional audiences.
  • Partner with product managers and tech leads to optimize workflows, SDLC practices, and team operating rhythms.
  • Develop, maintain, and refine dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking systems that give stakeholders visibility into tool adoption, process health, team performance, and product market trends.
  • Synthesize user feedback from product teams and customers to inform future tool enhancements, process evolution, and product development activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Tool & Process Implementation: Lead the end-to-end rollout of new tools and enhancements; from requirements gathering and vendor evaluation to implementation, training, and ongoing support.
  • Change Management: Design and execute change management plans for process and tooling changes, including stakeholder communication, impact assessments, and adoption tracking. Facilitate working sessions, training workshops, and large-group presentations for cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Performance & Adoption Analysis: Track and synthesize product performance, tool usage, and process health KPIs. Leverage dashboards and reports to drive informed, people-centric decision-making and support teams in meeting their goals.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage complex projects within the product operations space, focused on process and product team efficiency and optimization. Drive the establishment of best practices for product management and SDLC, ensuring all teams leverage tools and processes effectively.
  • Advising & Advocacy: Serve as a strategic advisor to product and business leaders on operational maturity, tooling strategy, and team effectiveness. Act as a customer and user advocate, synthesizing qualitative insights and feedback to champion improvements.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and coach junior product operations analysts.
  • Documentation: Build, organize, and maintain organizational documentation, templates, guidelines, and reference materials.
  • Collaboration: Cross-functional collaboration across product management, engineering, design, research, and data.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required

  • Associate's degree or Apprenticeship.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in product operations, program/project management, data analysis, business analysis, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience leading change management efforts: rolling out tools, process changes, or new ways of working to cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to present confidently and facilitate effectively with large, diverse audiences.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience in product management or quality assurance; either as a practitioner or in close support of product teams.
  • Experience in KPI development, analysis, and interpretation to drive data-informed decision-making (e.g., ability to leverage dashboards and BI tools effectively to support team goals).
  • Hands-on experience with product management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Workboard, TargetProcess, Productboard, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with product management frameworks, SDLC methodologies, Agile practices, and continuous discovery practices.
  • Strong change management skills, including the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across various levels and functions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; capable of conveying complex operational concepts and analytical insights to diverse audiences, including senior leaders.
  • Experience developing enablement materials such as training guides, facilitator decks, FAQs, and process documentation.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-moving, complex environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
