Department Summary Originally launched in 2016 as The Institute for Patient Safety, the center was created as a collaborative effort among key regional healthcare partners to address preventable harm and improve patient outcomes across Texas. Position Overview The Clinical Administrator of The Texas Center for Patient Safety (TXCPS) is a high level position within the TXCPS for individuals with substantial expertise and experience in their field related to patient safety. The Clinical Administrator serves as an expert topical thought leader and participates in strategic planning for TXCPS. The Clinical Administrator develops, leads, and provides educational services consistent with the TXCPS strategy and their area of expertise. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in a healthcare related field, five (5) years of clinical experience, including two (2) years of leadership experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
