Position Title: Accounting Clerk Wage: $20.00 - $25.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM Monday-Friday Reached a dead end at your current job? Accounting Clerk Responsibilities: - Process and verify invoices for Accounts Payable - Prepare and issue invoices for Accounts Receivable - Post payments and reconcile customer accounts - Assist with payroll processing, including time entry and wage calculations - Maintain accurate financial records and documentation - Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts - Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding billing or payments - Assist with month-end reporting and other administrative accounting tasks - Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain confidentiality Requirements For Accounting Clerk: - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred - 1+ year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll - Knowledge of basic accounting principles - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel - Experience with accounting software is a plus - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to handle confidential information professionally - Strong communication skills and ability to work independently Racine@qpsemployment.com IND012 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
