Position Title: Production Associate
Wage: $18/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday QPS Employment Group is hiring a Production Associate for a leading corrugated manufacturing company in Cedar Falls, IA. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment and want to be part of a team that keeps operations running smoothly. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Production Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Feed raw materials into machines as directed - Remove finished corrugated products from machines - Bundle and package finished cardboard products according to specifications - Stack and palletize bundled product for shipment or next production stage - Perform visual quality checks and report any defects - Keep work areas clean and free of debris - Follow all safety policies and procedures - Assist with basic machine cleanup during changeovers Production Associate Requirements: - Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred - Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English - Willingness to learn and support machine operators - Strong attention to detail - Dependable attendance and team-oriented mindset - Ability to read a tape measure is a plus - Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly - Stand and walk for extended periods - Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching - Ability to work around moving machinery in a manufacturing environment - Fast-paced corrugated production facility - Steel-toe boots required - On-the-job training provided QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
