Registered Nurse - Transition NICU Program - Days

• Location: Edward Hospital - Naperville, IL
• Full Time - 36 hours
• Hours: Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM including rotating weekends and rotating holiday
• Transition program classroom hours are day shift
• Precepted shifts are for day shift
• Start Date: 5/4/26

What you will do:

Endeavor Edward Hospital is delighted to offer a new NICU Nurse Transition Program. Our NICU is a Level III unit with 35 beds focusing on strong family-centered care and single room setup. This program is for experienced nurses who have a desire to transition into NICU Nursing. During this program, candidates will train with a NICU nurse preceptor for 16 weeks and will have dedicated education time.

Required Education, Licensure, Skills, Certification and/or Experience:

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing ; If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) within six months of start date into position
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient RN experience required
