Position Overview:

As an ALM Principal Solution Consultant, you will act as lead technical presales expert in North America for ALM and related topics in PTC's ALM HUB, supporting our Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)& Product line Engineering (PLE) solutions: Codebeamer, Pure Variants and Modeler. This role is responsible for supporting Codebeamer/ Pure Variants, patterns/architectures, customer onboarding, and long-term customer success initiatives across enterprise clients mainly in regulated industries such as automotive, aerospace, and medical devices.
You will closely collaborate with the global ALM & PLE expert solution consulting & services team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop & present technical presentations and customized demonstrations of PTC Codebeamer and Pure Variants including integrations with Windchill and 3rd party products to customers prospects and partners (technical and executive audiences.)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, CSM, Product Management, R&D, and Support to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Plan, manage and deliver POC's (proof of concepts) and technical workshops based on customer and partner related business needs.
  • Act as a technical project manager for customer projects, working with our partners, solution centers and R&D.
  • As a solution finder, suggest potential solutions and/or alternatives to key customer and partner challenges.
  • Support the sales team in qualifying potential opportunities with current customers, partners or prospects with the goal of fostering customer adoption and value realization of Codebeamer and Pure Variants.
  • Develop technical responses for customer requests for information (RFI, RFP etc.)
  • Stay current on industry trends in systems engineering, DevOps, and compliance (e.g., ISO 26262, ASPICE, FDA).
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in presales, professional services or solution delivery within enterprise software.
  • 3+ years in a senior engineering / consultant role with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English
  • Proven success in supporting / building / operating implementations in regulated industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
  • Excellent relationship building capabilities, high-energy & results-oriented with a customer first mentality
  • Experience with systems engineering, variant management, and compliance-driven development.
  • Background in automotive, aerospace, or medical device software environments.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Git, Jenkins, and other DevOps toolchains.
  • Excellent relationship building capabilities, High-energy & results oriented with a customer first mentality.
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • First class attention to detail, solution-finding
  • Strong skills in at least one programming language Java (J2EE), C++, Javascript, Python etc.
  • Experience with relational Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience in integrating tools using Rest API's

PTC carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $95,075 - $180,000. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.

Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Eligible employees also have the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program (ESPP) which allows for the purchase of discounted PTC stock. Certain roles may also be eligible for participation in our equity programs.
