Responsibilities and Expectations:

This job exists to continue improvements of inventory accuracy relating to costing, item identification, pricing, and quantity levels. The Inventory Manager must be able to make recommendations to improve processes and efficiencies and compile data to report sales, inventory, and costing to management.

  • Month End Reporting: Work with IT to create reports and work in Excel to compile sales data relating to monthly sales of Insulated Case Breakers (ICB) Bus Plugs (BP), and Transformers. Google data of Insulated Case Breakers (ICB's), in stock levels for top selling items, inventory values by company, and forecasting of future levels.
  • P21 Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of all functionality, and the ability to assist other employees with this system.
  • Serial Browser: Communicate with sales to setup items to be serialized by Item Type, to determine the criteria to be documented, and with IT to input/display/search for the criteria. Use the standard procedure to capture information and photos of serialized items, and to input into browser.
  • Lot Tracking: Correctly setup and monitor Lot Tracked items to track costing of items.
  • Project Management/Assistance: Identify opportunities for improvement with current procedures and offer suggestions and assistance with implementing those improvements.
  • ADP: Manage employee coaching, performance, productivity/efficiency, and time and attendance through ADP.
  • Ability to work with different departments, personalities and to follow up on tasks when immediate solutions aren't always available
  • Must be comfortable interacting with others in person and on the telephone

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Exposure to industrial engineering principles, and familiarity with computer programs
  • Experience with project management, Prophet 21 (P21) or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System
  • Competency in Word, Excel, Outlook , Prophet 21 (P21) or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
  • Ability to communicate with IT regarding extracting info from sql database.
  • Familiarity with month end and year end closing procedures.
  • Understanding of how to use browser, fields and how to export and organize information as needed for specific applications or requests
  • Access to Domo, familiarity with how specific cards are setup and ability to export cards.
  • Knowledge of electrical equipment through TSC or similar training
    • Required to complete TSC Electrical Training Classes within one (1) year of hire date
  • Lean management or Six Sigma Certification
