TITLE: Team Lead, Capture Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: CPG Beyond the Cloud (CPG) is seeking a Team Lead, Capture Management, a strategic leadership position within our Data Center General Contractor organization, responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of Capture Managers. This team will be specializing in low voltage (LV) infrastructure, estimation, and white space fit out projects. This role ensures effective coordination, development, and execution of capture strategies, supporting the company's growth in data center construction and service delivery. The Team Lead will drive operational excellence across multiple fast-paced projects, champion best practices, and foster collaboration between cross-functional teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of LV Capture Managers/Estimators, ensuring alignment with company goals and project requirements both pre and post award.
- Oversee the capture management process for white space fit out and LV cabling projects, from solutioning and pricing to proposal and implementation.
- Review and validate RFP/RFQ documents, supporting the team's efforts in responding to customer requests and identifying project risks and opportunities.
- Guide the team in generating accurate estimates and proposals, including rough order of magnitude and formal budgets for LV and related infrastructure scopes.
- Implement and maintain robust processes for bid document organization, project kickoff, and documentation management.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, preconstruction, execution, and finance teams to facilitate seamless project handoffs and communication.
- Ensure consistent identification of additional revenue opportunities and innovative solutions to maximize project value.
- Support the team in vendor, subcontractor, and supplier quote collection and cost assessment.
- Provide guidance on labor, material, and time requirement research, ensuring comprehensive project understanding and pricing accuracy.
- Oversee site visits and data collection activities, ensuring documentation is accurate and distributed to relevant stakeholders.
- Review and approve shop drawings, change order documentation, and material procurement processes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging creative problem-solving and cost reduction strategies without compromising quality or reliability.
- Monitor and report on project progress, team performance, and capture metrics to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and client requirements.
- Travel as required to support project needs and team activities (estimated 10%).
QUALIFICATIONS
:

*8+ years of experience in LV installation, estimation, and on-site project management within mission-critical or data center environments.
*4+ years in a leadership or supervisory role, managing teams or multiple projects.
*Demonstrated expertise in construction estimating, especially for LV systems, basket tray, ladder rack, fiber runner, containment, caging, floor tile cuts, power feeders/whips, and BCMS/EPMS integration.
*Proven ability to interpret contract terms, conditions, and exhibits relevant to project requirements.
*Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills; adept at leading both independent and collaborative work.
*Experience developing, justifying, and managing budgets and project documentation processes.
*Creative approach to challenge-solving, with a track record of implementing innovative solutions in construction.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills; high attention to detail and quality standards.
*Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, On Screen Take Off, Bluebeam, Building Connected, Accubid, RS Means, AutoCAD, and relevant testing/splicing tools and software.
*Familiarity with Procore Software for vendor management.
*Must be a US Citizen.
*Willingness to travel up to 10% as project demands require.
Education/Experience:
*Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Computer Skills:
- Advanced Windows power user.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction estimating software (Accubid, RS Means, On Screen Take Off, Bluebeam, AutoCAD).
- Experience with fiber testing equipment and platforms (Fluke LinkWare, Viavi J-Reporter, Fujikura/Sumitomo splicing tools).
- Familiarity with Procore for vendor management.
Certificates and Licenses:
- BICSI, RCDD, PMP are preferred, not required.

Pay Range: $130,798 - $196,253 per year |
