What You Will Do:
- Process Payroll Accurately: Manage payroll for a dedicated group of R.D. Offutt Company locations, ensuring team members are paid correctly and on time.
- Partner CrossFunctionally: Collaborate with location payroll contacts, Human Resources, Benefits, and management to gather and validate time and pay data.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with all applicable federal and state payroll laws, including timekeeping, tax payments, garnishments, and levies.
- Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide timely, professional customer service to team members and leaders by responding to payroll questions and resolving issues.
- Support the Payroll Team: Assist the Payroll Manager and fellow Payroll Specialists with payroll-related tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Promote Continuous Improvement: Participate in training, team meetings, and communication efforts while contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment.

What You Will Need:
- TeamOriented Mindset: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while maintaining a professional, customerfocused approach.
- Bring Payroll Experience: At least 2 years of payroll experience, with prior multistate payroll experience strongly preferred.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of federal and state wage and hour laws and government reporting requirements, including thirdparty garnishments.
- Detail & Accuracy Focus: Proven ability to perform highly detailed work with exceptional accuracy and confidentiality.
- Strong Organization Skills: Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet critical deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of computerbased payroll systems and proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Valid work authorization: Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
