Position Title: Buffer
Wage: $17.50/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 5:30am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday 10-hour days Looking to stay active and for hands-on work? This Richmond, Il company is looking for eager hands-on buffers. Buffer Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Actively seek out parts ready for the buffing process - Accurately verify the parts match the attached drawing - Accurately count beginning quantity from last processing station - Promptly notify supervisor of beginning quantity discrepancy - Ensure parts are thoroughly deburred and free from all rough/sharp edges - Accurately count the final quantity buffed - Accurately fill out job sheet details: finished qty, signs, dates, and initials where appropriate - Promptly transfer finished parts to staging area for further processing - Carefully clean machine from all daily debris - Continually empty waste water container for Deburring Machine Buffer Requirements: - Physically able to do the work - Sanding experience QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
