MUST:

Experienced Director of Business Development Sales

Proven track record selling general contractor (GC) construction services to commercial clients.

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial sales and general contractor services.

Ability to read and understand construction project RFPs, blueprints, estimates, and develop bids/proposals.

Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships with commercial and government clients, construction managers, and teaming partners.

Capability to identify and qualify subcontractors and obtain accurate pricing/bids.

DUTIES:

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Business Development / Sales to lead sales efforts and strengthen client relationships.

This role involves developing a new sales pipeline, creating a strategic sales plan, cold calling, conducting market research, and collaborating with the team to ensure successful project execution.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive new construction sales experience, the ability to interpret floor plans, house specification, interior design, contract documents, and exceptional communication and organizational skills. Develop and manage a pipeline of commercial construction opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation

Review and interpret construction RFPs, blueprints, and specifications to develop accurate proposals.

Prepare professional, competitive bids with pricing from qualified subcontractors.

Create compelling presentations and financial analyses for clients and internal leadership

Identify and qualify subcontractors across trades; solicit bids and ensure timely pricing.

Hire and manage subcontractors for specialized construction work.

Maintain subcontractor databases and ensure legal and insurance compliance.

Coordinate with construction managers, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment on project scope and expectations.

Collaborate with project managers to develop timelines and cost projections.
