Electronics Engineer IV

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineer IV to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting advanced power electronics systems, contributing to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our cutting-edge technologies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex systems and collaborate with a talented team dedicated to innovation and excellence. The Engineer will primarily support ALQ-184, ALR-69, ALQ-161, and SPY-1 power electronics/high voltage power systems. This is a Part Time position.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support in the areas of power.
• Supply test set maintenance and design, power supply system/subsystem design, electronics and power electronics reverse engineering.
• Provide limited guidance and training of tasking performed by junior and senior level engineers and technicians.

• Skilled in the development and presentation of training material for electronics/power electronics circuit analysis and circuit design to aid in the advancement of personnel skillsets.
• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active security clearance.

Experience in:

• Power Electronics troubleshooting and repair.
• Troubleshooting and repair procedure development and validation.
• Hazard analysis for high voltage work areas.
• Knowledge in the area of silicone and epoxy based.
• High-voltage encapsulation compounds.
