Description JOB PURPOSE: Under the supervision of the Deputy Director of Strategic Engagement and Impact, Strategic Engagement and Impact Coordinator supports the organization's public relations, media, and event engagement efforts. This role assists with the development and execution of media outreach, press materials, and storytelling content designed to inform, engage, and inspire the community to support the mission of Endeavors. The Coordinator provides project coordination and logistical support for special initiatives and campaigns as well as assists with the planning and execution of events and engagement activities that help elevate awareness of the organization, its programs, and the people it serves. Qualifications ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, a related field. EXPERIENCE: 3+ years' experience in a public relations, communications, or marketing role. Exceptional writing and editing skills. Strong understanding of mechanics of media pitches to include press releases, requests for coverage, and media alerts. Proven ability to develop and execute strategic PR campaigns. ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion. LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record. VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice. OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.
