SourcetoPay Operations & Systems Specialist Contract \| Remote \| Up to 20% Travel About the Role We are seeking a SourcetoPay (S2P) Operations & Systems Specialist to join a highly collaborative procurement transformation team. This role serves as the functional subject matter expert (SME) across the endtoend SourcetoPay lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on ProcuretoPay (P2P) and supporting SourcetoContract (S2C) activities. The team is currently midintegration, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys stepping into an inflight program, bringing clarity, structure, and bestpractice guidance. This individual will act as the main point of contact for procurement technology integrations, ensuring functional designs, user stories, and testing activities align with business needs and procurement best practices-not just system configurations. This is a fully remote contract role with occasional travel (up to 20%). What You'll Do SourcetoPay Functional Leadership * Act as the functional SME across the full SourcetoPay ecosystem, with P2P as the top priority * Serve as the primary point of contact for procurement system integrations across ERP and procurement platforms * Provide guidance rooted in procurement best practices, not limited to a single tool or system Design Review & Integration Support * Review and validate functional specifications, conceptual design documents, and solution designs * Ensure alignment between lean requirements, conceptual designs, and system configuration * Support ongoing integration efforts, including components already live and those still in progress * Act as the authority and conduit for determining where the solution needs to be, especially during cleanup and stabilization phases User Stories, Testing & UAT * Ensure user stories and test scripts are clear, complete, and wellwritten * Own and support testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities * Validate that implemented solutions meet functional, operational, and business requirements * Collaborate with technical teams to resolve defects and gaps identified during testing CrossFunctional Collaboration * Partner closely with procurement, ERP, data, integration, and adjacent workstreams * Work with a datadriven procurement team that includes a dedicated data analyst * Support crosstraining and knowledge sharing to reduce silos and increase team flexibility What We're Looking For Required Qualifications * 5+ years of experience in procurement, SourcetoPay, ProcuretoPay, or procurement systems * Strong handson experience with P2P processes, with exposure to S2C * Experience supporting ERP and procurement system integrations * Proven ability to review and validate functional and conceptual designs * Experience owning or heavily supporting testing and UAT * Strong understanding of procurement best practices and operating models * Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, midimplementation environments * Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across business and technical teams Preferred Qualifications * Experience with procurement platforms such as GEP, Coupa, SAP Ariba, Ivalua, or similar * Experience working with Azure DevOps (ADO) for user stories and testing (training available if not already experienced) * ERP implementation or integration experience (Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, or similar) * Background in procurement transformation or consulting environments Work Environment & Logistics * Fully remote (location not a constraint) * Up to 20% travel, occasional * Contract role supporting an active, enterprisewide procurement transformation Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
