The minimum and maximum projected annualized salary for this position is: $152,662.00 to $261,706.80. Additional compensation may be possible based on experience and skills.

We understand the need to be creative and flexible when it comes to telecommuting and other alternative work arrangements. This position is eligible for our hybrid remote work and will work in the Bethesda, MD office four days per week.



Responsibilities

The CRE Relationship Manager III independently acquires, grows, and services commercial banking clients. The Relationship Manager evaluates the client's needs and aligns those requirements with the appropriate bank products and product partners; performs the initial vetting and structure of loan transactions, including the preparation of term sheets; directs the underwriting of loan transactions, including the analysis of financial statements, with support of a Portfolio Manager (PM) and the bank's Credit Department; presentation of credit packages to the appropriate parties for approval; works with the Portfolio Administrator (PA) and/or outside counsel to prepare loan documents and close the loan transactions.



Qualifications

Requirements:

    Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in finance, accounting or business
  • Formal or in-house credit training
  • 3 years experience in commercial credit or real estate analysis
  • 5 years portfolio management and real estate underwriting experience
  • 5 years proven sales record in meeting or exceeding goals in commercial lending
  • Proficient in evaluating real estate credit risk
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Strong communications skills
  • Strong credit/underwriting knowledge
  • Intermediate skill level MS Office products

Preferences:

  • Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) other advanced degree or certification
  • Past experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Banking product knowledge
