We are looking to hire a Principal Software Engineer to join the Sentinel Platform team who thrives in a bottom-up, fast-paced, highly technical environment. If you have a customer focus and understand the importance of Live Site, with a demonstrated ability to establish and manage relationships across organizational boundaries, and proven experience dealing with large scale data architecture and proven experience creating distributed systems tools of moderate-to-high complexity, come join our team! The Sentinel Platform team will be building cloud solutions meeting scales that few companies in the industry are required to support, that leverage cutting-edge AI technologies to deliver holistic protection to a planet scale user base. The Sentinel Platform team provides leadership, direction and accountability for application architecture, cloud design, infrastructures development and end-to-end implementation. You will independently determine and develop architectural approaches and Infrastructure solutions, conduct business reviews, and operate our production services. Collaboration skills will be required to work closely with other engineering teams to ensure services/systems are highly stable and performant and meet the expectations of internal and external customers and users. Responsibilities We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer who can innovate and deliver scalable, secure services. The role covers key platform areas including provisioning, flighting, data ingestion/curation, billing, and security. You will apply your expertise in building and operating high-scale distributed systems with AI technologies, prototyping solutions, and making decisions in ambiguous situations. Collaboration across teams is essential to deliver a highquality platform for partners and customers. Lead by example by producing secure, highperformance, maintainable code. Continuously improve code quality using metrics, identify and escalate blockers, and ensure designs meet performance, scalability, resiliency, cost, and disasterrecovery requirements. Apply best practices for secure design, validate security invariants, and drive alignment with partner teams to deliver capabilities that meet customer needs. Qualifications Requiredqualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 12+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
4+ years people management experience.

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
