Duties:
Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements for Teradata-based data solutions; collaborate with Architects and Development Teams to design scalable Teradata data models and solutions; develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex Teradata SQL queries and BTEQ scripts; support performance tuning, data validation, and data integration efforts within Teradata; utilize Teradata SQL Assistant, Informatica, Unix, Mainframe, Tableau, performance tuning, data warehousing, data modeling, ETL development, risk management, and audit/regulatory exam management to perform duties; participate in solution design, data modeling, and technical documentation; conduct impact analysis and support production troubleshooting for Teradata environments; and communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Location: New York, NY and various unanticipated locations throughout the US; Salary: $128,960 per year (standard benefits apply); Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree); Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Business Analyst, as a Module Lead, as a Tech Lead, or in a related occupation; Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years' use of all the following: Teradata SQL Assistant, Informatica, Unix, Mainframe, Tableau, performance tuning, data warehousing, data modeling, ETL development, risk management, and audit/regulatory exam management. Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience. Because referrals have and continue to produce some of our best performing consultants nationwide, Genesis10 will reward you for your referrals by paying you a referral fee of $1000.00 which shall be paid in 2 installments: First Installment*: $500.00 when the candidate begins an assignment through Genesis10 at our client Second Installment*: $500.00 after the candidate has been on assignment for a minimum period of 6 months. The candidate must still be on billing at the time the second payment is due for you to be eligible to receive it. *Installments are typically mailed out towards the end of the qualifying month. Please note that depending on when your referral started his/her assignment, payment may not be received until the following month. | |
