Job Summary
The Human Resource Specialist will serve as a key employee-facing partner within a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment. Reporting to the Human Resource General Manager, this role supports day-to-day HR operations, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance initiatives while helping cultivate and strengthen company culture. The ideal candidate is a people-oriented professional with strong communication skills and the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization. This position requires a proactive, solutions-driven HR professional with experience supporting hourly and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
*Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and front-line leadership.
*Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
*Support full-cycle recruiting efforts for warehouse and manufacturing roles.
*Assist with employee relations matters, including investigations, coaching, and conflict resolution.
*Partner with leadership to reinforce company culture, engagement, and retention initiatives.
*Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
*Support performance management processes, including evaluations and corrective action documentation.
*Assist with benefits administration, leave management (FMLA, ADA), and policy interpretation.
*Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
*Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations applicable to manufacturing environments.
Required Qualifications
*Bachelor"s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
*Minimum of 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
*Experience supporting employees within a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment.
*Strong employee relations background with demonstrated conflict resolution skills.
*Experience conducting onboarding and new hire orientation programs.
*Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be a people person.
*Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
*Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
*U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of the work.
Preferred Qualifications
*HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent).
*Experience high-volume operational environment.
*Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) a plus.
