Under the direction of the Engineering Supervisor, leads activities associated with repair and maintenance of equipment, operation of building systems, and the overall appearance of the physical environment.

Responsibilities
- 1. Schedule work for all three shifts. Accountable for the timely and accurate achievement of assignments in accordance with established policies and procedures. Must be able to work independently and minimal supervision.
- 2. Assign work as efficiently as possible using the least amount of personnel needed to complete a job assignment within a prescribed time frame.
- 3. Check log book entries for proper reporting to include time, date, service call, corrective action, time to complete job and follow up action.
- 4. Spot check service work and preventive maintenance work and provide input to the supervisor of mechanical issues.
- 5. Provide training to insure uniform standards are followed to respond to service calls.
- 6. Work with the supervisor to track repeat calls and provide a solution to avoid any incident from reoccurring
- 7. Mentors staff and encourages a professional work environment.
- 8. Maintains and organizes department in a manner conducive to cleanliness, safety and operational efficiently. Directs staff to maintain work areas in a clean and safe manner
- 9. Assists other personnel as required. Performs visual inspections of facility during daily schedule for all trade related problems.
- 10. Demonstrates interpersonal behavior such as courtesy and discretion which fosters positive customer relations. Demonstrates and communicates sensitivity to the needs and concerns of all customers as well as co-workers in the performance of work activities.
- 11. Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth operation of the department/unit.
- 12. This position is working lead position. You will be assigned work and assigning to yourself.
Qualifications
EDUCATION High School or Trade School Graduate, with related technology courses required. EXPERIENCE Four (4) years of building maintenance/management experience, proficiency in reading and interpretation of blueprints, schematics and specifications. Working knowledge of assigned trade required. LICENSURE MEP Trade licensure, valid driver's license, and acceptable driving record required.
