Genesis10 is currently seeking a Power BI Developer - Hybrid for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role supports the day-to-day operations of a Power BI Center of Excellence (COE) platform. The ideal candidate will focus on platform request intake, workspace setup, access coordination, and user communications, while leveraging hands-on Power BI development knowledge to support governance, certification, and basic troubleshooting. This position requires 3 days onsite per week. Responsibilities: Support the day-to-day operations of the Power BI COE platform Manage platform request intake, workspace setup, access coordination, and user communications Leverage hands-on Power BI development knowledge to support governance, certification, and basic troubleshooting Collaborate effectively with both business users and technical teams in a fast-paced environment Requirements: Bachelor's degree in information systems, analytics, or a related field 5+ years of experience in Power BI operations, BI support, or analytics roles Hands-on Power BI report and dataset development experience Power BI certification required (PL 300 or equivalent) Strong understanding of Power BI workspaces, dataset and report lifecycle, and access control and sharing models Experience with Microsoft SSRS and MS SQL Server Experience working with ticketing or service request management systems Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to follow established processes and governance standards Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Desired skills: Experience supporting a Power BI Center of Excellence (COE) or shared BI platform Experience reviewing Power BI reports and datasets for certification or endorsement readiness Familiarity with Power BI governance, workspace strategies, and access models Experience supporting BI platforms in an enterprise environment Exposure to platform usage metrics and adoption reporting Strong customer service orientation with experience supporting business users Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
