Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Drupal CMS Editor for an onsite contract position with a Major Financial Services Firm located in McLean, VA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. As a digital communications professional, you will be responsible for the creation, administration, publication, and governance of digital content. You will provide intake and triage support for new content requests, ensuring that all published materials reflect brand standards and meet accessibility guidelines. This role involves maintaining documentation, managing the team backlog, content auditing, and implementing modifications for regular releases and scheduled updates. Responsibilities: Create, administer, and publish digital content across corporate web platforms Review and ensure quality and accuracy of all published materials Maintain site standards in accordance with brand guidelines and user experience recommendations Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may affect effective content publishing Identify opportunities for improvement and address inconsistencies within digital content Collaborate with digital product owners, front-end and back-end developers, and other stakeholders Support ongoing documentation, content audits, and scheduled updates for regular releases Create, refine, and assign backlog requests, ensuring each request is directed to the appropriate site lead Regularly interact with client leads and management teams to discuss content requests, business areas, and shifting priorities Requirements: Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Web Development, or a related field 4-6 years of hands-on experience with content management systems, with demonstrated expertise in Drupal or other CMS platforms 4-6 years of experience with HTML and CSS, including troubleshooting and optimizing web performance and accessibility Solid understanding of web accessibility standards (such as WCAG 2.1) 2-4 years of experience in a customer or client-facing role, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills 2-3 years of experience using project management and workflow tools (e.g., Wrike, Jira, Monday.com, or Asana) Experience with digital media, marketing, and website development, including search engine optimization (SEO) and content governance Familiarity with web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) and the ability to interpret data Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
