Job Title: Service Engineer 1 Location(s): Newark, DE Role The Remote Services Center is a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong customer focus. This role offers the opportunity to build on existing strengths, acquire new skills, and contribute as part of a highly impactful team within a global healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative to learn and strong technical expertise in clinical laboratory applications, along with electro-mechanical troubleshooting capabilities to support diagnostic laboratory instruments remotely. Strong computer proficiency and effective verbal and written communication skills are essential. Candidates must demonstrate a positive attitude when interacting with both internal and external stakeholders, consistently striving to exceed expectations. Sound decision-making skills, a collaborative mindset, and enthusiasm for change are critical for success in this role. Key Responsibilities
- Provide phone and email support to internal and external customers.
- Monitor and accurately document cases using a Customer Relations Software tool.
- Demonstrate advanced technical expertise in clinical laboratory practices while supporting Dimension Systems.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by troubleshooting complex technical issues and driving timely resolution.
- Take ownership of open tickets, ensuring issues are resolved or appropriately escalated when necessary.
- Meet or exceed individual service level metrics aligned with business and customer needs.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational processes.

Required Qualifications
- Associate degree with equivalent experience or Bachelor's degree in a science-related or engineering field.
- Preferred: Medical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or Engineering degree.
- 3-7 years of comparable experience (Med-Tech, Engineering, or healthcare industry experience preferred).
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
- Strong preference for candidates based in Glasgow, DE or Cary, NC; exceptionally qualified field-based candidates will also be considered.
